           Hilda Vasquez

                                            Head Coach

Hilda joined the Pacers in August 1999. She became the Head coach early 2008.

Don’t let her small frame size fool you: she ran 13 marathons (4:23 PR) and 9 half marathons with a 2:05 PR. In December 2008 she ran her first ultra in Ridgecrest: 31 miles in 6:34. Before joining as the head coach, Hilda coached and trained students in the Students Run LA program. Her dedication is endless: she ran with a student to the finish line in 8:45.

She has brought the same dedication to the Pacers; with her Latin energy, enthusiasm and friendliness, she has continually helped many runners achieve their goal of running a marathon. Currently, Hilda attends Pasadena City College transferring to a 4-year university.

Her next goal is to run a 100-mile race.
